Some companies are also trying to integrate their software into molecular diagnostic labs. This allows the system to use structured data it can understand to make reliable suggestions.

Step 2

Second, the system matches patients to clinical trials. Sophisticated AI-powered software can quickly search for relevant trials. Most clinical trials have eligibility guidelines for the specific people who can be tested. The software can quickly ensure patients match these guidelines.

Step 3

Third, most systems send especially challenging cases to a review board. This panel of experts would asess patient data and relevant clinical trials found by the software.
